About the role

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to be part of work delivering and commissioning new facilities and infrastructure for the PTA. The project includes the construction of earthworks, drainage, electrical, building, and rail infrastructure. Working in metropolitan Perth, this is an exciting project for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure that hazards are identified, risks assessed, and control measures planned and implemented in consultation with relevant employees.
  • Monitor and review the performance of plant, labour and subcontractors to ensure production targets are met or bettered and take appropriate action as necessary.
  • Promptly advise management of any issues that could be variations to the contract and keep accurate records of such issues.
  • Organise, coordinate and direct construction activities in accordance with construction schedules so as to complete the works on time and within budget whilst constantly ensuring that planning, safety, environmental and quality requirements are met.
About you
  • Trades qualification relevant to the construction, building or manufacturing industries.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience relevant to the designated project and having previously held a position of Foreman.
  • Sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementing of same.
  • Strong and proven ability to lead, direct and manage groups of diverse employees.
  • Exceptional vigour and energy accompanied by good oral and written communication skills
